And evolving your marketing strategies is really key to coming out ahead. Now, marketing is just as much a science as it is an art. And the digital aspect of marketing lets us get really scientific. We spend a lot of time experimenting, forming a hypothesis, testing it, and then using the data we collect to adjust course. Failure is just part of the journey. Data and near instant access to it makes digital marketing incredibly powerful. Just about every action you take on the web is tracked. Collect enough data points and you can build really powerful predictions about people’s behavior, their interests, what they’re searching for and why. Market, in its simplest form, is just persuading someone to take action. The more data we have and the better we leverage it, well, the more successful that persuasion will be.
